Creative Therapy
This service is mainly offered to primary schools in and around the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas.
Creative Therapy for Children in Schools
As part of my trauma-informed therapies, I offer creative therapy sessions for children and young people aged 5–11. Creative therapy gives children a safe and supportive space to express themselves through art, play, movement, and storytelling – helping them process difficult emotions and experiences in a way that feels natural and engaging.
These sessions are particularly valuable for children who may struggle to put their feelings into words. Through creativity, they can explore their thoughts, build confidence, and develop healthier ways of coping with challenges such as anxiety, loss, trauma, or changes in their lives.
I work collaboratively with schools to provide a supportive and flexible service that meets the needs of their students. Schools can contact me directly to discuss their requirements and arrange a programme of weekly creative therapy sessions.
Together, we can create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel supported to grow, heal, and thrive.
